Press Kit

Billboard-charting reggae-pop blending vibrant island energy with hook-driven songwriting — four national tours, festival mainstages, and a feel-good message that brings people together.

About the Band

01 — Bio

The Irie have quickly become one of the most exciting voices in modern reggae-pop, blending vibrant island energy with hook-driven songwriting. Bursting onto the scene with their charting 2021 EP Can’t Get Enough, the band proved they could move both Billboard and Apple Music charts while building a grassroots fanbase on the road.

Since then, they’ve completed four national tours, expanded into Mexico, and commanded mainstages at some of the biggest reggae festivals in the U.S.

George Ruiz — singer, songwriter, and frontman — continues to push the project forward into its next chapter. Continuing to evolve, The Irie have been working with acclaimed producer Matt Keller on a full-length album featuring collaborations with genre heavyweights like Anarbor, Badfish, The Elovaters, and Katastro.
